In California, a child is abused or neglected every 9 minutes and our state accepts a child into the foster care system over 76 times each day.
As the Indian Wells Chapter has grown these past 11 years, we now plan three fundraising events annually and have implemented our Childhelp “Speak Up Be Safe” educational prevention program in the Coachella Valley. Our Chapter’s vision is that of a future where every childhood is free of abuse and neglect and no child is lost at the hands of another.
