Produced by two-time Grammy Award winner Rob Christie and featuring Grammy-nominated violinist Isolde Fair, the single offers early downloads for Childhelp donations beginning October 13.
Actress, singer-songwriter and child welfare advocate Jen Lilley and singer-songwriter Rosevelt are joining voices to support Childhelp’s life-saving programs with “It’s Gonna Be Okay.” Beginning October 13, listeners who donate $5 or more through ItsGonnaBeOkaySong.com will receive an instant song download ahead of its October 16 streaming debut.
Written by Lilley and Rosevelt, produced by two-time Grammy Award winner Rob Christie and featuring Grammy-nominated violinist Isolde Fair, the pop ballad speaks to those carrying hurt behind a smile—and reminds them their story isn’t over. Its message underscores that not every child who needs help looks like they’re struggling.
Both artists share years of deep personal involvement with Childhelp as Celebrity Ambassadors. For Lilley, that connection is woven into her family’s story: she became a licensed foster parent through Childhelp and later adopted through the organization, making its mission part of her everyday life..
Rosevelt became a Childhelp Ambassador at eleven. Her “Music And The Message” assemblies and community outreach have reached more than 1.7 million people across 26 states and Canada, encouraging audiences to speak up about abuse and seek support.
The campaign supports Childhelp’s programs providing hope, protection and support when children need it most. Donations through the designated Childhelp form go directly to the organization. A companion $39 “Happy One” hat includes an instant song download, with 100% of profits benefiting Childhelp.
Fundraising will continue beyond the streaming release. Visit ItsGonnaBeOkaySong.com to participate.
