Childhelp’s VP of Growth and Prevention, Stacy Vaughan, was recently interviewed by NJ Family for an article examining the highly publicized Cornell case and the important conversations it has sparked for families.
Stacy brought Childhelp’s prevention expertise to the conversation, offering age-appropriate guidance for parents on discussing consent, recognizing unsafe situations, and helping children understand when to seek support for themselves or others. She also emphasized the importance of prevention education in teaching young people protective safety skills and empowering them to speak up when something doesn’t feel right.
