Help us ensure that no child's call for help goes unanswered

Your support is a lifeline

As we look back on the tremendous work we’ve accomplished together this year, one thing is clear: Your support is the lifeblood of the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline. For 42 years, this 24/7 lifeline has been a critical resource for children, families, and individuals seeking help — providing confidential crisis intervention and referrals in more than 240 languages. Thanks to you, every cry for help is met with compassion and action.

But as the need continues to grow, so does our call for your sustained support. With your generous gift, you’ll directly impact the lives of children in their most vulnerable moments, ensuring they have someone to turn to when they need it.

All who enter will find love.

Your impact is real

Recently, a woman called our hotline with concerns that her husband was sexually abusing their five-year-old son. She had no local support, just had a baby and didn’t feel safe in the home. She said that sometimes she wouldn’t shower because she didn’t want to leave her children alone with her husband.

While she was talking, she realized how unsafe her situation was and said she was going to call her family, who live in another state, and stay with them. The counselor told her that the hotline is 24/7 and she could call if she needed additional support in creating a relocation plan. She thanked the counselor, stating she didn’t realize how serious her situation was until she was able to talk about it.

We need to keep this momentum going so we can continue answering every cry for help. Your gift today could help ensure we meet our goal and provide hope to thousands more who are in similar situations.
