2007 Venice Marathon

Childhelp® is proud to announce its participation in the 2007 Venice Marathon in Venice, Italy on October 28, 2007!  The Champions for Children team is already forming for this amazing trip!  With the help of our friends at 1st Marathon, we have created an exquisite getaway to Venice, including roundtrip airfare, five (5) nights of four-star accommodations at the Hotel Monaco in Piazza San Marco (St. Mark's Square) overlooking the Grand Canal, and the unique opportunity to take part in this trip as a direct result of your fundraising efforts for abused and neglected children.

That's okay!  Although we encourage active participation (the experience is incredible!), companion travelers are welcome too!  Click here for companion info.

How much does it cost?
"Cost" is an icky word...  we ask that you raise a minimum of $5,000 per person for the children that we serve through our programs and services.  Click here for runner info.  Please note that 91 cents of every dollar donated to Childhelp goes directly to fund these programs and services.  If you are traveling as a companion, the cost is $3,850.  
 
What if I am not located in Phoenix?
You are still more than welcome to join us!  Call for additional details.

How long is the trip?
We will depart on October 24th, and arrive in Venice on the 25th.  Unless you opt for the extension trip, you will depart Venice on the 30th to return to the United States.

What if I want to stay longer?
We will be offering a five-day extension package as an option to add on to your trip.  This package includes five (5) nights of accommodations in Rome, a Vatican tour, and optional group adventures.  This five-day trip is available for an additional fee.  Click here for extension trip info.

How do I sign up?
All you need to do is fill out the Registration Form and Commitment Agreement and mail or fax them in.
