CBS Investigates Child Abuse and Economy

By Derrek Hofrichter - Childhelp Media Dept. - 5/21/2009 It's an issue we have been well aware of here at Childhelp for awhile, the ties between the economy and child abuse.  Late last year we issued a press release warning that as the economy turns south the risk increases of abuse happening.  We have also commented on a number of news stories in the last year, some of which I have linked to in past blog posts.

In a story on the CBS Evening News last night, they investigated this very issue and found the results to be very saddening.
